KaupEx and HyFuel are two planned 20 MW facilities for the production of green hydrogen. These projects represent a significant investment for HYDS and an important step to enable zero-emission solutions across the maritime sector, mobility, construction and industry in Norway. HYDS has previously received support from Enova to develop and deliver the plants.
"We have had aclose and constructive collaboration with HYDS over time and look forward to contributing our expertise to realize these projects. This agreement marks an important step in our partnership and in advancing hydrogen solutions nationally," says Karsten Gudmundset, CEO of Moreld Apply.
Under the agreement, Moreld Apply will be responsible for engineering, procurement, construction, and installation (EPCI)of the two hydrogen facilities, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and sustainability.
The agreement is a Letter of Intent, with final contract signing expected in the coming months. The project has reached Final Investment Decision (FID), enabling preparations for execution to move forward.
